God is still raising an Issachar Company of those that understand the
times and know what individuals, institutions and nations ought to do.
Members of the Issachar Company have the prophetic ability to
accurately interpret the character of a given time or season with a view to
setting the right agenda. There can be no better time to set the right
agenda than on a millennial day.
The tenth day of the tenth month in 2010 is a millennial day. A
millennial day is a day that comes once every one thousand years. The
next time we will have another millennial day of exactly this kind is on
the 10th day of the 10th month in 3010.
Every millennial day is a strategic day. It is a time of intensive spiritual
activities, a day of confrontation between demonic and divine strongmen,
a time of frenetic spiritual transactions when the kingdom of darkness
seeks to lay new spiritual infrastructures for controlling individuals and
nations, especially if the watchmen of the kingdom of God fail to rise to
their watchtowers to perform their duties. The 10th day of the 10th month
in 2010 will be a day of unimaginable angelic traffic. It will be a day of
contentions between the heavenly host and the demonic hordes of hell. It
will be a day of deliverance for the oppressed, a time to proclaim freedom
to the captives, a day to set at liberty them that are bruised.
To appreciate the multiple significance of the 10th day of the 10th month
in 2010, we must understand the gateway of the 10th number, the gems
of the 10th hour, the glories of the 10th month and the guarantees of the
10th year.
GATEWAYS OF THE 10TH NUMBER
A gateway is an entry and exit point. The number 9 is a gateway to the
number 10, just as 10 is a gateway to the number 11. Every ninth year
season of fruitfulness and exceeding multiplication should create the
right atmosphere for greater emphasis on law and order, righteousness
and justice in the tenth year. There can be no better day to pray for the
enforcement of order in every realm of human endeavour than on a day
with a triple identity of ordinal perfection. The 10th day of the 10th month
in the year 2010 is a gateway for the enthronement of order. It is also a
gateway for the judgement of the forces that promote lawlessness and
disorder. Whatever refuses to conform to the standards of law and order
in the 10th year will naturally be ushered into a season of inevitable
retribution in the 11th year of judgment when lawlessness can no longer
be tolerated.
GEMS OF THE 10TH HOUR
A gem is a precious stone. The gem of the 10th hour denotes the
precious spiritual revelations we can glean from the 10th hour of the day
to fully appropriate the blessings of the millennial day in 2010. Every
10th hour of the days in 2010 will be significant. But the most significant
of them will be the 10th hour of the 10th day in 2010. The 10th hour of the
millennial day should be a time of creating order in every disorderly
situation. The 10th hour falls within the 4th watch of the day which
begins at 3pm. The 10th hour is actually 4pm in the day. It is a time for
disciples to receive a deeper revelation of Jesus.
In John 1:35-39, John the Baptist introduced Jesus to two of his
disciples as “the lamb of God’. They suddenly left him and followed Jesus
in whose abode they dwelt from the tenth hour. “Again the next day after
John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he
walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! And the two disciples heard him
speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and saw them
following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi,
(which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? He saith
unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode
with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour” (John 1:35-39).
It was after this encounter with Jesus that these two disciples received a
deeper revelation of Jesus beyond what John the Baptist gave them.
John 1:40-44 says: “One of the two which heard John speak, and followed
him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first findeth his own brother
Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being
interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus
beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called
Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. The day following Jesus would
go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, follow me. Now
Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter”. John the Baptist
introduced Jesus to the disciples as, “the Lamb of God”. But Andrew,
Simon Peter’s brother, got a revelation of Jesus around the 10th hour as
“the Messias, which is being interpreted, the Christ”. The 10th hour is
part of the 4th watch of the day. It is an hour of prayer. It is an hour of
deeper revelation of Jesus, the one who is the Law, the Lawyer and the
Judge, the one who is the Supreme Signification of order, righteousness
and justice.
Those who come to Jesus at the 10th hour will see a deeper dimension of
Him. The disciples asked Jesus “where dwellest thou?” at the 10th hour
and Jesus told them to “come and see”. The Lord is still telling us to
“come” to Him during the 10th hour of deeper revelation and we will “see”
a part of Him nobody can show us.
Remember that when Jesus was on the cross, from the sixth hour to the
ninth hour, there was utter darkness. In his moment of deepest agony,
Jesus cried out at the ninth hour and yielded the Ghost. Immediately,
the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom, the darkness
dissipated and a way was made for everybody into the holy of holies.
“Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the
ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,
Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou
forsaken me… Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded
up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the
top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent” (Matthew
27:45-46, 50-51).
The 10th hour of Jesus on the cross was the hour of light. The darkness
that engulfed the earth from the sixth hour to the ninth hour
disappeared after Jesus died. The veil of the temple was torn and a
highway of unrestricted revelation was carved for everyone into the Holy
of Holies. The former restriction of the Holy of Holies to the High Priest
alone, once every year, was broken. Anyone could now go into God’s
presence, at any time.
Notice the parallel between this and the encounter between John’s
disciples and Jesus. Before the 10th hour they saw Jesus but did not
know who He was. They needed John the Baptist, their master to
introduce them to the “Lamb of God”. But at the 10th hour, when they
desired to know the dwelling place of Jesus and when He himself called
them to come and see, they received a deeper revelation of Him as the
Messiah. The veil of dependence on John the Baptist was torn when the
disciples had direct contact with Jesus at the 10th hour.
Find time to withdraw at the 10th hour on the millennial day in 2010. A
veil will be torn in your life for a highway of revelation to be opened for
you. The 10th hour is a time of deeper revelation. It is a time of light. It is
a time of invitation into the presence of your maker. It is a time of
unrestricted access into the Holy of Holies. It is a time of unimaginable
encounter that will move you and your ministry to the next level. Just as
Andrew and the second disciple left John to follow Jesus, so you too will
leave certain things you were accustomed to for entry into the next move
of your life.
Enter into a covenant to wait on the Lord every 10th hour of the days in
2010. Take particular note of the 10th hours of October, the 10th month.
Be even more particular about the 10th hour of the 10th day in the 10th
month of 2010. Expect a mighty visitation during this strategic hour on
the millennial day.
GLORIES AND GUARANTEES OF THE 10TH MONTH AND THE 10TH
YEAR
To appropriate the blessings of the millennial day in 2010, you need to
understand the glories and guarantees associated with the 10th month
and the 10th year. These are key characteristics of the 10th month and
the divine things heaven has chosen to accomplish in the 10th year.
Glory is the full expression of the purpose of a thing. It is the Kabod or
full weight of a thing, the perfect manifestation of the reason for its
existence. The glory of the 10th year is the divine essence and splendour
attached to the year. It describes and demonstrates the full weight of the
year, why God instituted it in His divine calendar. The tenth year season,
especially the millennial day of the 10th year, is a:
1. Time to re-write satanic decrees against god’s people
2. Time to proclaim a reversal of fortune and divine replacement
3. Time to execute the ten-fold judgments of Moses to release people
from bondage
4. Time to break the repeated cycles of temptations and rebellion
5. Time to reverse decisions that produced illegitimacy
6. Time of divine encounter with the god that sees injustice and
affliction
7. Time for restoring the stolen wages of employees
8. Time to cry to the god of bethel – the place of the 10% vow
9. Time to raise ten righteous intercessors to avert specific territorial
judgement
10. Time to restore Africa as a store house of the nations.
TIME TO RE-WRITE SATANIC DECREES AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE
Such decrees are usually symbolic of disorder and death. Mordecai
refused to bow down to Haman because Jews believe that only God
deserves such reverence. Haman, through sorcery for an entire year
manipulated King Ahasuerus to sign a decree to kill every Jew, “both
young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the
thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, and to take
the spoil of them for a prey” (Esther 3:13). Haman’s decree of death was
justified by the fact that Mordecai refused to bow to him; and because
Jewish laws are unique and different from those of their kingdoms. “And
Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered
abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy
kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the
king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them” (Esther
3:8).
Haman paid 10,000 talents of silver into the king’s treasuries for the
purpose of destroying the Jews. But God averted the execution of
Haman’s deadly decree through the intercession and sacrifice of
Mordecai and Esther. A new decree was written for the preservation of
the Jews. Esther fell at the feet of the King and besought him with tears
to put away the mischief of Haman. “Then the king held out the golden
sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king, And
said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the
thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be
written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha
the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's
provinces” (Esther 8:4-5). You too can write a new decree to cancel any
decrees of death signed against you, your family or your nation.
TIME TO PROCLAIM A REVERSAL OF FORTUNES AND DIVINE
REPLACEMENTS
The millennial day in 2010 should also be a time of proclaiming the
reversal of fortunes. The new decree, that was written, signed and sealed
with the king’s ring completely reversed Haman’s deadly decree. It also
led to the reversal of personal fortunes; Haman’s position of prime
minister was given to Mordecai. His house was also given to Esther who
appointed Mordecai to manage it. “On that day did the king Ahasuerus
give the house of Haman the Jews' enemy unto Esther the queen. And
Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.
And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it
unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman” (Esther
8:1-2).
The millennial day in 2010 is a day to decree the divine replacement of
the rebellious by the righteous. Make a list of rebellious men and women
in authority, who must be replaced. Decree their dethronement. Proclaim
their replacement by the likes of Esther and Mordecai.
TIME TO EXECUTE THE TEN-FOLD JUDGMENTS OF MOSES TO
RELEASE PEOPLE FROM BONDAGE
Judgment is often needed to deal with the forces that hold people in
bondage. When the judgment of the Lord is upon the earth, the
inhabitants learn righteousness the hard way. To release the children of
Israel from bondage in Egypt, Moses executed a ten-fold judgment
against the sources of Pharaoh’s strength. The 10th day of the 10th month
in 2010 is a strategic day to execute the ten-fold judgments of Moses in
your nation. It is a day to beautify the meek with salvation through
judgment. “For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the
meek with salvation… Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a
twoedged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen,
and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and
their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written:
this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalms 149:4, 6-9).
Each of the ten plagues invoked by Moses in the land of Egypt
represented the judgment of an idol. The judgment of these idols broke
the strength of the satanic forces used by the Egyptians to hold the
Hebrews in bondage. The plague of blood in the river was a judgment
against the god of the Nile. The plague of darkness was to destroy the
power of Ra – the sun god. There were also such plagues as frogs, lice,
flies, disease on animals, hail, locusts and death of the firstborn of both
man and animals. It is interesting to note that the god of the Nile, Osiris,
“The father of life” was judged in Ezekiel 29:1-4 in the 10th month of the
10th year. “In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the
month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy
face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against
all Egypt: Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his
rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for
myself. But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy
rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of
thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales” (Ezekiel
29:1-4).
Identify the sources and the strengths of the forces that have held you
and your nation in bondage on this strategic day. Execute the judgment
written on them, enforce the liberty God has promised in His word.
TIME TO BREAK THE REPEATED CYCLES OF TEMPTATION AND
REBELLION
The repeated cycles of temptation must be broken to avert the loss of
destiny. Israel tempted God ten consecutive times, en-route the Promised
Land. These repeated cycles of temptation may have prevented God’s
people from possessing the Promised Land, if there was no remnant in
the camp. When Moses sent 12 leaders from the 12 tribes of Israel to go
and spy the Promised Land, 10 of them came back with an evil report.
They said the land was full of giants that ate up its inhabitants. They
saw themselves as grasshoppers. “…We were in our own sight as
grasshoppers, and so were we in their sight” (Numbers 13:33).
Ten leaders brought a bad report about the Promised Land and this was
the tenth time Israel had tempted God notwithstanding the miracles he
had done for them. This repeated cycle of rebellion made God to declare
that all those who had seen the glory of the 10 plagues He did in Egypt
and the miracles in the wilderness “and have tempted me now these ten
time”, will not enter the Promised Land (Numbers 14:22). Only Caleb and
Joshua were excepted because they believed the Lord.
The 10th day of the 10th month in the 10th year of 2010 is a good time to
break the cycle of repeated temptations and rebellions in your life and in
your nation. These cycles of rebellions will hinder you from entering into
the promises of God. Stand in the gap as Moses did when Israel tempted
God for the tenth time. “And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord
be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying, The LORD is
longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and
by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children unto the third and fourth generation. Pardon, I beseech thee, the
iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as
thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now” (Numbers
14:17-19).
THE TEN TIMES ISRAEL TEMPTED GOD IN THE WILDERNESS
1. Murmuring for Water at Marah: “And when they came to Marah,
they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter:
therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured
against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?” (Exodus 15:23-24).
2. Murmuring over Hunger in the Wilderness of Sin: “And the whole
congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and
Aaron in the wilderness: And the children of Israel said unto them,
Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of
Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to
the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this
whole assembly with hunger” (Exodus 16:2-3).
3. Murmuring for Water at Rephidim: “And all the congregation of the
children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their
journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in
Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink. Wherefore
the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may
drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore
do ye tempt the LORD? And the people thirsted there for water; and
the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that
thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and
our cattle with thirst? And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What
shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me” (Exodus
17:1-4).
4. Compelling Aaron to make the Golden Calf: “And when the people
saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people
gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, up,
make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man
that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become
of him. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings,
which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your
daughters, and bring them unto me. And all the people brake off the
golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto
Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a
graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These
be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of
Egypt…And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and,
behold, it is a stiffnecked people” (Exodus 32:1-4, 9).
5. Offering of Strange Fire by Nadab and Abihu: “And Nadab and
Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire
therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the
LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from
the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD”
(Leviticus 10:1-2).
6. The Mixed Multitude Lusts for Flesh: “And the mixt multitude that
was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept
again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish,
which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and
the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried
away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes… I
am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for
me. And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I
have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness”
(Numbers 11:4-6, 14-15).
7. Miriam and Aaron Rebel against Moses Over His Marriage to an
Ethiopian Woman: “And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses
because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had
married an Ethiopian woman. And they said, Hath the LORD indeed
spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD
heard it…And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and
he departed. And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and,
behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked
upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous…And Miriam was shut out
from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam
was brought in again” (Numbers 12:1-2, 9-10, 15).
8. Ten Tribal Leaders Sent to Spy the Promised Land Refuse to
Possess the Promised Land: “And they brought up an evil report of
the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying,
The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that
eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it
are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of
Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as
grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight” (Numbers 13:32-33),
“And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the
people wept that night. And all the children of Israel murmured against
Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them,
Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we
had died in this wilderness! And wherefore hath the LORD brought us
unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children
should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? And
they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into
Egypt” (Numbers 14:1-4).
9. The Rebellion of Korah and Israel against Moses and Aaron:
“Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and
Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons
of Reuben, took men: And they rose up before Moses, with certain of
the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly,
famous in the congregation, men of renown: And they gathered
themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto
them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy,
every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye
up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD…But on the morrow
all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses
and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD”
(Numbers 16:1-3, 41).
10. Israel again Murmurs for Water after Miriam’s Death: “Then came
the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of
Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam
died there, and was buried there. And there was no water for the
congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses
and against Aaron. And the people chode with Moses, and spake,
saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before
the LORD! And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD
into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there? And
wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in
unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of
pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink” (Numbers 20:1-5).
TIME TO REVERSE DECISIONS THAT PRODUCE ILLEGITIMACY
There were certain personal decisions that produced illegitimacy in
families and nations. The 10th day of the 10th month in 2010 is a good
time to reverse such wrong decisions. Abraham made such a wrong
decision in the 10th year of his stay in the land of Canaan. When the
promise of a child was seemingly delayed, Abraham yielded to the carnal
promptings of Sarah, his wife to have sex with Hagar her maid. “Now
Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an
Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold
now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my
maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to
the voice of Sarai. And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the
Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave
her to her husband Abram to be his wife. And he went in unto Hagar, and
she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress
was despised in her eyes” (Genesis 16:1-4).
Wrong decisions that create illegitimate circumstances would normally
create disorder. Hagar despised her mistress after she conceived. Sarah
transferred her anger and resentment on her husband who only had sex
with Hagar at her permission. Sarah also spoke to her husband roughly.
And Abraham unwittingly gave Sarah permission to persecute Hagar.
“And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid
into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised
in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. But Abram said unto
Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And
when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face” (Genesis 16:5-6).
At a time Abraham was supposed to trust God for the fulfilment of the
promise for a child, he made the wrong decision that gave birth to the
illegitimacy called Ishmael. All this happened in the 10th year of his
sojourn in Canaan. Of Ishmael, God said, “And he will be a wild man; his
hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and
he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren” (Genesis 16:12). The
symbols of lawlessness birthed contrary to divine timing, in the 10th year
of law and order can be redeemed on the 10th day of the 10th month in
2010. The principle that guarantees the reversal of illegitimacy in the
10th year is based on the fact that a bastard cannot enter the
congregation of the righteous until the 10th generation.
Judah the symbol of dominion and authority in Israel deceived his
daughter-in-law Tamar who equally tricked him to have sexual
intercourse with her. The product of this incestuous relationship was
Pharez. From Pharez, the illegitimate son born to Judah, to David the
legitimate son born to Jesse was 10 generations. The prophetic promise
to the Tribe of Judah was that the sceptre shall not depart from this
tribe. The illegitimacy of his relationship with Tamar, led to the
suspension of this promise because only after the 10th generation could
this promise be fulfilled. David was the 10th generation from Pharez, and
he became king of Israel at the time appointed for the reversal of
illegitimacy.

The “breaches” of the first generation of illegitimacy through incest can
be reversed in the 10th generation. That which began with a “breach” can
end in the 10th year with the birth of initiatives that are “well-beloved”.
Take time to identify the illegitimacies in your family. Through
repentance and renunciation, ask God to reverse them in this 10th year
for reversing the wrong decisions that created illegitimacies. The 10th day
of the 10th month in 2010 is a strategic day for dealing with the stigma of
bastardization. In Christ there is no bastard. David, the well-beloved of
the Lord is a descendant of Pharez, whose conception and birth
represented a breach. Nevertheless, he became a type of Christ. His
throne was a replica of the throne of God. Jesus, Himself became
identified as the Son of David. The 10th year, like the 10th generation, is a
time of double-barrelled mercy and grace. Five is the number of grace
and ten is simply five into two places. The fact that the genealogy of
Jesus can be traced to Pharez tells us that illegitimacy can be terminated
for all those that are connected to the mercy and grace that God gives.
TIME OF DIVINE ENCOUNTER WITH THE GOD
THAT SEES INJUSTICE AND AFFLICTION
The 10th year is a time of divine encounter for those afflicted and unjustly
treated. It was in the 10th year of Abraham’s sojourn in Canaan that he
impregnated Hagar. As we noted earlier, Hagar despised Sarah, her
mistress, who persecuted her. An angel of the Lord met Hagar while she
was running away and commanded her to return and submit herself to
Sarah. “And she called the name of the Lord that spoke to her. Thou God
seest me: for she said, have I also here looked after him that seeth me?”
(Genesis 16:13).
TIME FOR RESTORING THE STOLEN WAGES OF EMPLOYEES
Many employers of labour cheat their employees. Right wages are not
paid. When they are paid at all, this is not done at the right time.
Sometimes, employers look for flimsy excuses as ground to sack their
employees without benefits.
The millennial day of 2010 is a good time to cry out against the
perpetuators of these injustices. Jacob served Laban for a total of 20
years, that is, two cycles of 10 years. Explaining to his wives, the
daughters of Laban on how God restored his stolen wages, Jacob in
Genesis 31:7-12 said: “And your father hath deceived me, and changed
my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me. If he said thus,
The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if
he said thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle
ringstraked. Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given
them to me. And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I
lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which
leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled. And the
angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here
am I. And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap
upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all
that Laban doeth unto thee”.

God knew the fact that Laban changed Jacob’s wages ten times. No
wonder he gave Jacob the spiritual technology for restoring his wages.
God also instructed him take his family and leave. Knowing that his
father-in-law may not easily permit him to leave, Jacob eloped with his
cattle, wife and children. “And Jacob stole away unawares to Laban the
Syrian, in that he told him not that he fled. So he fled with all that he had;
and he rose up, and passed over the river, and set his face toward the
mount Gilead. And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob was fled.
And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days'
journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead. And God came to
Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that
thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad” (Genesis 31:20-24).
Notice that it was only after 3 days that Laban realised that Jacob had
run away. Notice also that Laban pursued Jacob for 7 days before
catching up with him. In Laban’s mind all that Jacob had belonged to
him. “And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, These daughters are my
daughters, and these children are my children, and these cattle are my
cattle, and all that thou seest is mine: and what can I do this day unto
these my daughters, or unto their children which they have born?” (Genesis
31:43).
This is the typical response of an unjust man. How could Laban, whose
name means “white”, claim all that Jacob had? In his response, Jacob
who served Laban with all his heart said, “This twenty years have I been
with thee; thy ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and the
rams of thy flock have I not eaten. That which was torn of beasts I brought
not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether
stolen by day, or stolen by night. Thus I was; in the day the drought
consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine
eyes. Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen
years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast
changed my wages ten times. Except the God of my father, the God of
Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent
me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my
hands, and rebuked thee yesternight” (Genesis 31:38-42).
God saw the affliction of Jacob in the second 10th year of his service to
Laban. God saw the injustice and decided to deliver him. The 10th year
season is a time of terminating the stranglehold of injustice and
oppression. It is a time to ask God for the strategy of escaping the
injustice of a cruel employer of labour. It is a season for the divine
restoration of human rights. What you may have lost through injustice
can be restored to you in one moment. There are ministering angels sent
to tell you what to do. For Jacob, “…the angel of the Lord spoke to him in
a dream, saying ‘lift up now thine eyes, and see all the rams which leap
upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled and grisled: for I have seen all
that Laban doeth unto thee. I am the God of Bethel, where thou aniontedst
the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me; now get thee out from
this and, and return unto the land of thy kindred’” (Genesis 31:12-13).
The Lord will speak to all those who wait on Him on the 10th day of the
10th month in 2010. He will give specific instructions to those cheated by
wicked employees. The deliverance of the children of Israel from the
slavery and economic hardship of Egypt was divinely directed on the 10th
day of the 1st month. God told Moses, “Speak ye unto all the congregation
of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them
every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an
house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his
neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls;
every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your
lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out
from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the
fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the
congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening” (Exodus 12:3-6).
These were the instructions of the Passover – the feast Israel celebrated
before leaving Egypt to the Promised Land. The instructions on how to
celebrate this feast that culminated in the Israel’s exodus from bondage
and economic oppression was given for the 10th day. Furthermore, God
spoke to Moses saying, “Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every
man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of
silver, and jewels of gold. And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight
of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of
Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people”
(Exodus 11:2-3).
There is no work without pay. Ask God to restore all the wages owed you
for the time you served under an unjust master. Pray for a perfect
restoration of the reward for your labour. The resources the Jews took
from their Egyptian taskmasters were enough to build the tabernacle in
the wilderness. Pray that the restoration of your wages by God will be
enough to lay the foundation for the fulfilment of your destiny.
TIME TO CRY TO THE GOD OF BETHEL –
THE PLACE OF THE 10% VOW
All those who have been cheated by employers or the circumstances of
life can cry to the God of Bethel, the place of the 10% vow on the 10th day
of the 10th month of 2010. God remembered the vow Jacob made at
Bethel, “And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he
had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the
top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that
city was called Luz at the first. And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will
be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread
to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father's house in
peace; then shall the LORD be my God: And this stone, which I have set for
a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely
give the tenth unto thee” (Genesis 28:18-22).
Jacob apparently fulfilled his vow for the 20 years he lived with Laban.
This explains why the Angel of the Lord in a dream gave him a strategy
on what to do to increase his stock. The Angel also gave him the timeline
for leaving the employment of Laban. Jacob thereby became chief
executive officer of his own company.
Jacob’s new company did not start small. It started big because he
honoured his 10% vow at Bethel. No wonder God said to him, “I am the
God of Bethel…where thou vowedst a vow to me”, at the transition point
when he was to leave Laban to start his own company.
The 10th day of the 10th month of 2010 is a good time to cry to the God of
the 10% vow, if you have been faithful in paying your tithe. You can
boldly stand on your watchtower and ask the Lord to “open you the
windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be
room enough to receive it” Ask the Lord to “…rebuke the devourer for your
sake…” so that he cannot “destroy the fruits of your ground, nor cause
your vine to cast her fruit before time.” Declare that “…all nations shall call
you blessed: and ye shall be a delightsome land…” (Malachi 3:10-12).
You can also invoke the blessing of Daniel 1:17 and 20 on you and your
children. “As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in
all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and
dreams…And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king
enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians
and astrologers that were in all his realm” (Daniel 1:17, 20). Pray that you
and your children will be ten times better than the best the world has to
offer.
TIME TO RAISE TEN RIGHTEOUS INTERCESSORS TO AVERT
SPECIFIC TERRITORIAL JUDGMENTS
Judgment is certainly the lot of anyone or territory that establishes a
culture of lawlessness in the tenth year season of law and order,
righteousness and justice. But because it is not the will of God that
anyone should perish, the Lord is looking for those who will intercede for
the deliverance of nations whose notoriety for wickedness has come to
him. There can be no better day to raise such intercessors to cry to avert
judgment, than on the 10th day of the 10th month in 2010.
When the report of Sodom’s abominations came to God, Abraham was
the one whom the Lord chose to use. “Peradventure there be fifty
righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for
the fifty righteous that are therein… And he said, Oh let not the Lord be
angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found
there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake” (Genesis 18:24, 32).
The centres of lesbianism, homosexuality and bestiality will still be
delivered if God found 10 righteous men and women who will intercede
for these centres of perversion. Many nations have exceeded Sodom and
Gomorrah in iniquity.

committed intercessors whose lives reflect order and commitment to
righteousness and justice.
These intercessors must be:
• Territorial Watchmen Like Abraham – to whom God Reveals
Secrets: “And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing
which I do” (Genesis 18:17).
• People with Functional Families, whose Children have been
Discipled: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his
household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do

• People who can hear the Cry of the Righteous in Modern Day
Sodoms and Gomorrahs: “And the LORD said, Because the cry of

to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know” (Genesis
18:20-21).
• Committed Men and Women who can Stand before God to
Negotiate Territorial Destines: “And the men turned their faces from
thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the
LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the
righteous with the wicked?” (Genesis 18:22-23).
• People with a Sense of Justice who don’t want the Righteous to
be Destroyed with the Wicked: “Peradventure there be fifty righteous
within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the
fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this
manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous
should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all
the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous
within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes” (Genesis
18:24-26).
• Intercessors who can Pray Prevailing Prayers: “And he spake unto
him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there.
And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake. And he said unto him, Oh let
not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty
be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. And he
said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord:
Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not
destroy it for twenty's sake” (Genesis 18:29-31).
• People who Understand the Significance of 10 as the Number of
Ordinal Perfection: “And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I
will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And
he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake. And the LORD went his way,

Abraham led to the deliverance of Lot and his family. May the

TIME TO RESTORE AFRICA AS A STORE HOUSE OF THE NATIONS
For many generations, Africa had been cheated during the slave trade,
the colonial period, and in the neo-colonial trade relationships which
favour her former colonial masters. The 10th day of the 10th month in
2010 is a good day to proclaim Chad Taylor’s prophecy of February 17
2008 on the economic and social restoration of Africa and Africans in the
Diaspora. The highlights of this prophecy which can be found in chapter
twelve of this book is as follows:
• Africa will Become the Storehouse of Nations: “Africa the storehouse of nations: the army and the wealth …is coming back.”“He shall deliver thee in

Africa: “I see the wealth of the wicked returning; returning to the shores
of Africa. And you will rebuild the old waste places and the cities that
have been in ashes.”
• God will Raise before our Eyes, even in a Day, a Nation like the
New Jerusalem: “God will raise up before your eyes, even like new
Jerusalem, God will raise up a city, God will raise up a continent, and
God will raise up a nation even in a day.” “God says, It will be a
miracle; it will be a phenomenon. It will be a paradox to some, a miracle
to others, and a phenomenon to not just a few what I do through you, oh
Africa.”
• The African Aliyah will see the Return of Africans in the
Diaspora: “I see … ships full of your people, full of generations, full of
mantles, full of anointing, and full of crowns coming back, filling your
seashores and filling the horizons as far as the eye can see. From a
thousand years ago until now, coming back, coming back, and coming
back; for what the devil meant for evil, God has always intended for
your good. “Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather
themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far,
and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side” (Isaiah 60:4).
• The Entrepreneurial Spirit of Joseph will be Restored in
Government and in the Marketplace: “And the spirit of Joseph shall
rest upon you, and you will live in no pit and no prison no more. And the
scepter of Pharaoh shall be extended to your nation and kings shall
come to the brightness of its rising and the army of the gentiles shall
come because the glory of the Lord is rising and shinning upon you.”
• A Fresh Glory will Arise Out of the Dark Spots of Africa: “God
says, And though gross darkness has covered you, My glory shall arise
and shine upon you. For that very text of Scripture was written for such
a time as this.” “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the
LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the
earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon
thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come
to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising” (Isaiah 60:1-3).
• A Great Spirit of Philanthropy will break Out of the Continent:
“Great charity will break poverty, and Africa will become a storehouse to
the nations.” “The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries
of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring
gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD”
(Isaiah 60:6).
• The Nations of the World will Come to Africa to Seek for Bread:
“There will be storehouses filled with new manna and new bread, and
other countries in the next decade will come to Africa to fill their bags
and fill their ships. I will completely turn it around, for all things work
together for the good of those called according to My purposes, and My
purposes are coming into fullness, fullness, fullness.” “And the seven
years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the
dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread”
(Genesis 41:54).
• There will be a Spiritual and Intellectual Restoration of Youths in
Africa: “And I am recapturing the minds of your youth. They will
become doctors and they will become geniuses in their fields. They will
become physicists and doctors and lawyers, and they will defend you
and they will stand for you. And I will raise them up to be the head and
not the tail, as prophets and kings and as priests.” Hallelujah!

Beginnings and New Trends in Transformation: “It starts in 2008.
The stall and the calves have left the gate in 2008, and you will see a
phenomenon in the sky above; you watch it, you watch it. Those that are
observant and those that are prophetic (and even science) shall record
the mysteries and the signs and the wonders in the heavens above and
the earth beneath….”
God has prepared a feast of fat things for Africa. “And in this mountain
shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of
wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well
refined. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast
over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow
up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all
faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the
earth: for the LORD hath spoken it” (Isaiah 25: 6-8).

the gates of time. Psalm 100:4 says: “Enter into his gates with
thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and
bless his name”.

· Appreciate God for the symbols of righteousness and justice still
· visible in your nation.
· Thank God for the defenders of human rights in society.
· Praise God for the progress made this far in the area of the rights of
· women.
· Appreciate Him for past blessings by honouring God with 10% of your
· income.
· Appreciate God for a new season for ending another cycle of
· bastardisation and illegitimacy.
· Thank the Lord for a new season for the restoration of labourers cheated of their wages through slavery and forced labour.
Command creation to enter the gates of the 10th day of the 10th month in
2010 based on the revelation in Psalm 149:1-9, “Praise ye the LORD. Sing
unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let
Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their

with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he

the prophetic agenda of the day.
BRINGING REPENTANCE AT THE GATE OF THE MILLENNIAL DAY
It is presumptuous to enter a millennial day without repentance. The
blessings of a given millennial day are predicated on the spirit with which
God’s people enter the day. Repentance, according to Dr. Mensah Otabil,
is a radical change of mind, action and direction. It opens the door of
mercy and grace, breaks the legal ground Satan uses to hinder the
appropriation of God’s blessings and opens a spiritual highway for the
release of God’s redemptive gifts.
There is so much lawlessness, disorder and injustice in the nations that
a year associated with the restoration of order would require repentance
for the innumerable examples of injustice against women, minorities, the
poor and the less privileged.
The 10th day of the 10th month in 2010 should be seen as a prophetic
day of atonement. The regular Day of Atonement is usually on the 10th
day of the seventh month. “And this shall be a statute for ever unto you:

· holy convocation unto you;” (Leviticus 23:27b).
· A Time for Afflicting the Soul: “…and ye shall afflict your souls”
· (Leviticus 23:27c).
· A Time of Offering Sacrifice Purified by Fire: “…and offer an
· offering made by fire unto the LORD” (Leviticus 23:27d).
· A Time When no Work should be Done: “And ye shall do no work in
· that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for
· you before the LORD your God” (Leviticus 23:28).
· A Time When those who Refuse to Afflict their Soul could be Cut
· Off: “For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same
· day, he shall be cut off from among his people” (Leviticus 23:29).
· A Time When Those who Violate the No Work Rule could be
· Destroyed: “And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that
· same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people”
· (Leviticus 23:30).
· A Time that Carries a Sabbatical Grace: “Ye shall do no manner of
· work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all
· your dwellings. It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall
· afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto
· even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath” (Leviticus 23:31-32).
· A Time Which must be Celebrated Yearly: “And this shall be an
everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of
Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded
Moses” (Leviticus 16:34)
The millennial day in 2010 should be a day of repentance for personal
failures. Ask God to forgive you for every aspect of lawlessness in your
life. Repent for the inhumane way we have treated women and children,
for child abuse, sexual violation of women, violence in society, injustice
in the workplace, racial prejudice, genocide, gender genocide and
institutionalised discrimination against minorities.
We should also bring repentance for the perversion of the divine order.
The legalisation of same-sex marriages, prostitution and the
decriminalisation of abortion are all subjects for deep repentance.
Repentance must go hand in had with renunciation. As we bring
repentance to God, we must renounce the demonic forces that promote
abominations. We must renounce the satanic gatekeepers that are
responsible for tolerating the intolerable and legalising the illegal. They
are the lawmakers who promote abortion and the judges who sit on the
bench to legislate same-sex marriages.
MAKING PROCLAMATIONS AT THE GATE OF THE MILLENNIAL DAY
The character of the 10th day of the 10th month in 2010 will determine
the type of proclamations to be made at the gate of the millennial day. As
a strategic day in the year of law and order, righteousness and justice,
the millennial day in 2010 must be a time of strong spiritual legislation.
The watchmen must make the kind of proclamations that the watchmen
in the book of Daniel made. When King Nebuchadnezzar made a decree
that everyman must worship his golden image or be thrown into the
burning furnace, Daniel and his Jewish friends made a counterproclamation.
“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to
the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this
matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the
burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But
if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor
worship the golden image which thou hast set up” (Daniel 3:16-18). When
the three Hebrew children were thrown into the fiery furnace, there
appeared the fourth man in the fire, the Lord Jesus in His pre-incarnate
form. This demonstration of God’s power led to the reversal of the King’s
original decree. “Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the
God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and
delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's
word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any
god, except their own God. Therefore I make a decree, That every people,
nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their
houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can
deliver after this sort” (Daniel 3:28-29).
The 10th day of the 10th month in 2010 is a time to make spiritual
proclamations that will reverse the satanic decrees of men. It is a day to
stand up to the kings of the earth who make ungodly proclamations.
When Nebuchadnezzar arrogated to himself the powers of the Sovereign
God, the watchers proclaimed his dethronement for seven years. “Let his
heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him;
and let seven times pass over him. This matter is by the decree of the
watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that
the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and
giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men”
(Daniel 4:16-17).
Psalm 24:7-10 is a proclamation that we must make at the gate of the
millennial day in 2010. It is a battle cry for bringing the Lord into the
gates of hell so that they can be transferred into the gates of
righteousness. “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye
everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of
glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your
heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of
glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the
King of glory. Selah” (Psalms 24:7-10).
PRAYING THROUGH THE GATES OF THE EIGHT WATCHES
Special times and seasons demand sacrifices from God’s people. If
indeed you believe that a day that comes once in every 1,000 years
demands your attention, then you will do everything to reschedule
important but not so vital appointments in order to give your time
wholeheartedly to God on this strategic day.
The twenty-four-hour day is divided into eight watches. There are four
watches of the day and four watches of the night. There is no better time
to completely cover the eight different watches of the day and night than
on a millennial day. A 24-hour prayer watch can be set up and people
divided into groups to cover particular watches of the day or night.

PRAYING THROUGH THE GATES OF THE 10TH HOUR
There is only one reference to the 10th hour in the scripture. This is in
John 1:35-39. “Again the next day after John stood, and two of his
disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb
of God! And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, what
seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted,
Master,) where dwellest thou? He saith unto them, Come and see. They
came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was
about the tenth hour” (John 1:35-39). As we noted in the last chapter, the
10th hour was a time two former disciples of John the Baptist abided
with Jesus after their former master introduced Jesus to them as the
“Lamb of God”. These disciples stayed with Jesus from the 10th hour.
Their intimate interaction with Him exposed them to a deeper revelation
of Jesus as Messiah, the Christ. The 10th Hour is not just a time of
deeper desire to know Jesus, it is a time of deeper revelation.
TEN RELATED THINGS ABOUT THE TENTH HOUR
The tenth hour is the:
1. Hour of Special Invitation into God’s Presence: When you can
hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit saying, “Come to Jesus
and you will see a deeper dimension to life”.
2. Hour of Deeper Revelation: When the eyes of your understanding
will be enlightened by personal contact with the Light of the World.
3. Hour of Separation for Higher Consecration: When the better
things in your life will take the place of the good things and the best
will replace the better and even the best can be replaced by the
glorious.
4. Hour of Unrestricted Access to God: When the limitations of man’s
introduction of God to you will be overtaken by a personal revelation
of Him.
5. Hour of Fresh Light after a Season of Darkness: When the
ignorance of the cover of darkness is removed by the power of a new
transfiguration.
6. Hour of Increased Revelation: When those who hitherto knew Him
as the Lamb of God can know Him further as Messiah, the Anointed
One.
7. Hour of Divine Encounter for the Next Move: When the
revelations of His presence will naturally propel you to the next level
of your life and ministry.
8. Hour of the Evening Sacrifice: When you can stand as a
watchman to make Elijah’s proclamation in 1 Kings 18:36, “And it
came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that
Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac,
and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and
that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy
word.”
9. Hour when even Unbelievers can Recognise the Lord: “Now when
the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the
earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly,
saying, Truly this was the Son of God” (Matthew 27:54).
10. Hour when Graves can be Opened to Demonstrate the
Resurrection of the Saints: “And, behold, the veil of the temple was
rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and
the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the
saints which slept arose” (Matthew 27:51-52).
OTHER SPECIFIC PRAYERS TO OFFER DURING THE 4TH WATCH OF
THE MILLENNIAL DAY IN 2010
The 10th hour falls within the 4th watch of the day. This is from 3pm to
6pm. The 4th watch of the day encompasses the 9th, 10th and 11th hours
of prayer. Because of the prophetic and temporal links between these
hours of prayer, it is important to know the specific ways we must focus
our intercession at this time.
· Ask God to Demonstrate His Power through Supernatural Signs
and Wonders: “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all
the land unto the ninth hour” (Matthew 27:45).
· • Cry Out for the Liberation of those in Bondage: “And about the
ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama
sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken
me?” (Matthew 27:46).
· • Pray that God will Set Confusion in the Midst of His Enemies: “
Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err,
that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into
their mouths, they even prepare war against him. Therefore night shall
be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto
you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the
prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. Then shall the seers be
ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their
lips; for there is no answer of God” (Micah 3:5-7).
· • Ask God’s for Grace to Yield Completely to His Will: “And the sun
was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And
when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands
I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost” (Luke
23:45-46).
· • Invoke the Power of God to Tear the Veils that Hinder Full Access
into God’s Presence: “And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in
twain from the top to the bottom” (Matthew 27:51a). “And the LORD
said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now
thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and
southward, and eastward, and westward: for all the land which thou
seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy
seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of
the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered” (Genesis 13:14-16).
· • Ask God to Release Spiritual Earthquakes to Breakdown Satanic
Barriers: “… and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent” (Matthew
27:51b). “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises
unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a
great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken:
and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands
were loosed” (Acts 16:25-26).
· • Release the Resurrection Power of God to Open Ancient Graves
and Release Saints held Captive by the Spirit of Death and Hell:
“And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which
slept arose,
And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy
city, and appeared unto many” (Matthew 27:52-53).
· • Ask the Lord to Help Unbelievers to See and Recognise Jesus as
their Saviour: “Now when the centurion, and they that were with him,
watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done,
they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God” (Matthew
27:54).
· • Pray that God will Activate His Disciples, Especially Women, to
Remain Faithful even in the Face of Persecution and Death: “And
about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama
sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken
me …And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed
Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: Among which was Mary
Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother
of Zebedee's children” (Matthew 27:46, 55-56).
RAISING ALTARS AT THE GATES OF THE MILLENNIAL DAY
Altars must be raised to secure the new season of law and order,
righteousness and justice. These altars will serve as the tokens for
remembering our divine encounters with the God of justice. They will
become the gateways linking us with the Lamb’s altar in Heaven. They
will bring order in our moments of disorder. They will link the nations to
the Throne of God, where there is neither lawlessness nor injustice.
Isaiah 62:10 says: “Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way
of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a
standard for the people”.
We go through the gates with knowledge and adequate preparation. We
prepare the way for the people through repentance and renunciation. We
build up the highway by raising altars and linking them with the Lamb’s
altar in Heaven. We take out the stones by making prophetic
proclamations. We lift up a banner for the people by declaring the
sovereignty of God and our complete dependence on Him. The altar you
raise on a millennial day will become a reference point of worship, a
place for making sacrifices, and a powerful symbol for securing the land
in line with the season of ordinal perfection, righteousness and justice.
